SRP AirOutshield™ UV
A UV Resistant, Vapor Permeable Air Barrier for Open Joint, Rain Screen Wall Systems
UV Resistant: Resists UV that penetrates through cladding systems. Tested in accordance with the stringent DIN EN testing before and after exposure.
High Breathability Rate: Allows moisture within the wall system to dry rapidly, thereby reducing potential for mold, mildew, rot, metal corrosion and reduced insulation thermal values.
Water Resistant: Moisture entering the wall system is quickly diverted before it can
damage insulation and other components.
Durable: Tear, rip and puncture resistant which
reduces repairs and related labor costs.
Polyester: Provides superior resistance to the high temperatures associated with typical dark colored cladding systems.
Black with no printing on the exterior: Provides enhanced aesthetics for open joint cladding systems.
SRP AirOutshield™ SA 280
Vapor Permeable Air Barrier for Rain Screen Wall Systems
Self-Adhered: Simply “peel and stick” the product to any compatible substrate without the need for primer adhesive.
Air Barrier System: Achieves the highest rating possible (A1) in the most stringent air barrier assembly test; CAN/ULC S742.
Reliable Breathability: AirOutshield SA 280 provides consistent and reliable moisture vapor transmission rates as it is composed with a full coverage, vapor permeable adhesive.
Water Resistant: Moisture entering the wall or sloped system is quickly diverted before it can damage insulation and other components.
Durable: Tear, rip and puncture resistant which reduces repairs and related labor costs.
High Temperature Resistance: Superior resistance to the high temperatures associated with typical dark colored roofing and cladding systems.
“Dries In” Building: Can be installed and left exposed for up to 90 days allowing construction to proceed efficiently. Cover product in accordance with the “Extreme Weather Statement”.
SRP AirOutshield™ WALL
Vapor Permeable Air Barrier for Rain Screen Wall Systems
High Breathability Rate: Allows moisture within the roof system to dry rapidly, thereby reducing potential for mold, mildew, rot, metal corrosion and reduced thermal insulation values.
Water Resistant: Moisture entering the wall system is quickly diverted before it can damage insulation and result in increased labor costs.
Durable: Tear, rip and puncture resistant, reducing repairs and related labor costs.
Polypropylene: Superior resistance to the high temperatures associated with typical dark colored roofing systems.
Self-cinching at Fasteners: Minimizes penetration point leaks and the need for sealant.
“Dries In” Building: Can be installed and left exposed for up to 120 days allowing construction to proceed efficiently.
